PACKAGE SYSTEMS

Package systems are one piece, self contained units that can be gas furnaces,heat pumps, air conditioners, electric heaters or nearly any combinationof the above. They are installed outdoors, connecting directly to your ductsystem. They can be used in manufactured homes, light commercial applications and residences and may be preferredover a split system in some applications. With a split system, the furnaceor air handler needs to be installed in the house or garage, with a packagesystem, all of the components are outside the house. The advantages to thismay be that the homeowner need not give up valuable storage space, or insome instances, noise could be a factor.
